In Mendeley Reference Manager you create your own library where you store your sources. You can organize these in folders as you can see in "Manage and organize resources". But you can also share folders with others so that you can collaborate on a project. Super handy!
Here you can see how you can share a folder with others and thus collaborate.
The groups can be found under Private Groups on the left.
Select the folder you want to share with others.
Vervolgens kun je met de rechtermuisknop naar Manage Group.
In Manage Group you can see who the current members of the group are (Members), view the current invitations (Pending Invites) and you can add new members by mail (Invite Members).
You can share a folder with 24 others. Do you want to invite someone? Make sure you have the email address. Please note, this must be the email to which the Mendeley account is registered.
Enter the email in the appropriate place.
If you want to enter more email addresses, enter each email address on a different line.
Click Send Invites.
The person sharing the folder is the owner of the group and can invite new members.
The admin can also make others admin.
The person is now admin.
You can also make the person a Member again by choosing Demote to Member
Sharing a folder isn't enough for you and would you like to share more like the notepad?
Then you can choose to create a joint account. For example, create a new email address for your project group. Also make sure that everyone knows the login of the account. That way you can work together in the same Library and you are not tied to a specific folder.
